Formal Resume (cover letter)
Academies do not usually have their own application forms. They rely on recruiting acencies, like EICO, to gather the needed information about potential employees. By signing up or logging in and filling out your resume, you will be giving us all the information we need to pass on to the school to land you a job.
Letter of full-time teaching experience proof
Applicant must provide an official letter from previous employer in order to proof applicant's full-time teaching experience. Copy of visa or copy of contract will not be acceptable and period of employment and "full-time employee" should be stated on your letter.
Copies of Contract
Eico will provide you a copy of contract and you need to make three copies and every page must be signed before it sent to Eico office (one for your E2-visa run, one for the School and one for yourself)
One passport size photo
Two reference (recommendation) letters
Professional recommendation letter (original hard copy only). Friend or close relative can't issue this reference letter. Academic Professor or employer should issue this letter and letter must have letter head and contact information with signature on -This is not essential documents for Private Academy but it would better if you submit it
Teaching Certification or Language Certificate (TESOL or CELTA) - Optional
Certify teacher must provide notarized copy of teaching certification and Language certificate such as TESOL or TEFL course must be more than 100 hrs credit otherwise it won't effect on your salary level (certificate holder can have better salary -This is not essential documents for Private Academy but it would be better if you have it
Two Official Sealed Transcripts
Self –introduce video
This is introducing about yourself by video. It could be between 3minutes and 5minutes self video. School can get your personal impression by this video.
This is non-official paper for the school. The director of the school can see how good you are as English teacher. if you have more skill and experiences as English teacher then you can show it by lesson plan. It could be any subject and any idea from you for elementary school students (age between 9 to 13 years)
